A deposit turns a maybe into a booking. Clients pay it by card when they book, it goes straight to your own payment account, and your cancellation policy decides what happens to it.

You connect your own free Helcim account, so deposits land with you — never with us.

Nothing added

You pay Helcim’s normal card fee. We add nothing on top and take no commission.

Everyone, or just the risky

Ask every client for a deposit, or only clients with a record of missed appointments.

Your policy, shown up front

Clients see your policy when they pay, and a late cancellation can keep the deposit.

Refunds when you choose

Refund a deposit in full or in part from the appointment.

Or a card on file

Instead of a deposit, clients can save a card and agree to your no-show or late-cancel fee — charged only if you choose to.

Do I pay extra for deposits?

No. Deposits are included on every plan, Free too. The only cost is Helcim’s standard card-processing fee.

Do I need a Helcim account?

Yes, to take card payments. It is free to open and pays out to your bank.

Can I set a different deposit for each service?

Not yet — you set one deposit amount for your business.
